Raw Material

The oil pressing plant serves as the core stage in the entire oil extraction process. A complete oil pre-treatment and pressing line primarily includes several key stages: cleaning, crushing, conditioning, flaking, cooking, and pressing.

Seed Cleaning

Equipment such as cleaning screens, magnetic separators, and stone removers are used to eliminate impurities from the oilseeds, including stones, metals, dust, and stems.

Crushing & Conditioning

Crushers and conditioning kettles are used for larger oilseeds like soybeans and peanuts. The seeds are first crushed and then conditioned (softened) by adjusting their temperature and moisture content.

Flaking

Flaking mills press the crushed and conditioned oilseed particles into thin, uniform flakes. This disrupts the cellular structure of the seeds, preparing them for efficient oil extraction.

Cooking

Cooking kettles use heat and moisture to condition the flakes. This step is essential for thermal pressing but is omitted in the cold pressing method.

Pressing

Screw presses extract the oil from the cooked meal (for thermal pressing) or prepared flakes/seeds (for cold pressing). This process produces two main products: crude oil and oil cake/meal. Pressing can be categorized into Cold Pressing and Hot Pressing.
